Abstract Solar drying is useful in several residential, commercial and industrial applications. Proper dryer design, operation maintenance are essential for enhancing the performance better quality of dried product. beneficial as it protects product from adverse climatic conditions quickly economically dry The design has undergone significant shapes, dimensions, storage features leading to reliability. Researchers worldwide have reported higher energetic exergetic through advanced measurement, control features. Conventional dryer’s efficiency deterioration attributed lack proper material selection computational fluid flow techniques. Traditional designs focused on rate while sustainable solar increased thermal utilization a limited area with locally available materials based suitable microclimatic conditions.
