چکیده

Due to the rapid depletion of crude oil and serious environmental pollution, synthesis polymers from renewable resource is becoming more important. Up now, a great variety biomass bio-based platform compounds have been taken prepare polymers. However, as two representative thermosetting resins, epoxy benzoxazine resin derived feedstocks only obtain limited attention compared with popular plastics, including PLA, PBAT PHBV etc. The reason might be that properties previously reported resins directly obtained are usually unsatisfied, their application fields limited. In this paper, latest development on high-performance polybenzoxazine reviewed. addition, further broaden applications, functionalization strategies also summarized. objective work help us fully aware present situation then promote faster development, especially practical application.

Monitoring the Cure State of Thermosetting Resins by Ultrasound

The propagation of low intensity ultrasound in a curing resin, acting as a high frequency oscillatory excitation, has been recently proposed as an ultrasonic dynamic mechanical analysis (UDMA) for cure monitoring. The technique measures sound velocity and attenuation, which are very sensitive to changes in the viscoelastic characteristics of the curing resin, since the velocity is related to th...

Thermosetting resins with high fractions of free volume and inherently low dielectric constants.

This work demonstrates a new class of thermosetting resins, based on Meldrum's acid (MA) derivatives, which have high fractions of free volume and inherently low k values of about 2.0 at 1 MHz. Thermal decomposition of the MA groups evolves CO2 and acetone to create air-trapped cavities so as to reduce the dielectric constants.

Design and development of soft nanomaterials from biobased amphiphiles

Design and development of different forms of soft matter from renewable (biomass) feedstocks is gaining attention in current research. This highlight summarizes our continuing efforts towards the effective utilization of renewable resources for new chemicals, fuels and soft materials, and selected successful stories in that direction. Cashew nut shell liquid, an industrial by-product, was used ...

Biocatalysis for Biobased Chemicals

The design and development of greener processes that are safe and friendly is an irreversible trend that is driven by sustainable and economic issues. The use of Biocatalysis as part of a manufacturing process fits well in this trend as enzymes are themselves biodegradable, require mild conditions to work and are highly specific and well suited to carry out complex reactions in a simple way. Th...
