چکیده

ABSTRACT: Our target is to evaluate recent literature on chitinase production from different sources via solid-state fermentation and analyze several strategies improve fermentation. Plant pathogen biocontrol, sequential transformation of chitin into bioactive molecules such as chito-oligosaccharides N-acetylglucosamine, protoplast synthesis filamentous fungi, single-cell protein are some the applications for chitinase. Despite their enormous biological importance, chitinases have received little commercial importance due smaller percentage microbes with high efficiencies, enzymes' decreased activity consistency, cost production. Solid-state (SSF) less expensive, requires fewer vessels, uses water, wastewater treatments, produces a greater product yield, has lower risk bacterial contamination, energy expenditure. its higher productivity cost, SSF technique now mostly limited lab scales. Furthermore, crude products can be used an enzyme source biotransformation. There many findings microorganisms that produce by SSF. So it very critical isolate new organisms we assessed traditional approach medium optimization, which focuses changing one factor at time while leaving others constant, statistical optimization techniques response surface methodology (RSM), artificial neural networks (ANNs), genetic algorithms (GA).

Xylanase Production under Solid State Fermentation by Aspergillus niger

Central composite orthogonal design was applied to quantify relations  of xylanase production, loss of dry matter and change of pH with four critical variables during solid state fermentation of a mixture of wheat bran and wheat straw on which Aspergillus niger CCUG 33991 was cultivated. The studied variables included the percentage of wheat straw, temperature, moisture content, and fermentati...

Production of Chitinase by Solid State Fermentation –Sudhakar.P

Enzymes are the most efficient bio-catalysts which catalyze many biological reactions. Enzymes are the most important products obtained for human needs through microbial sources. Enzymes are first reported in the second half of the nineteenth century (Godfrey et al. 1996). Since then, its usage has increased manifolds in various industries. In the last three decades with rapid strides in the fi...

Solid State Fermentation for Production of Chitosan by Aspergillus Niger

The effect of Solid State Fermentation (SSF) on Chitosan production by A. niger was investigated. A. niger BBRC 20004 from Biochemical and Bioenvironmental Research Centre of Sharif University of Technology (Tehran, Iran), was grown on corn residue. Chitosan was extracted from the fungal mycelia using hot alkaline and acid treatment. A. niger was incubated for 12 days on corn residue with moist...

Production of Glucoamylase by Aspergillus Niger under Solid State Fermentation

In this study, Glucoamylase production by Aspergillus niger was investigated under solid state fermentation using low cost by-products of agricultural processes as substrate. Highest enzyme production was observed when a combination of wheat bran (WB) and corn flour (CF) was used as compared to WB+ rice bran, WB+ rice flour and WB alone. Several compositions of corn flours were experimented. Th...
