Real-Time Power Control of Doubly Fed Induction Generator Using Dspace Hardware

Numerous studies have been undertaken to evaluate wind energy systems’ active and reactive power control, the produced, their its link distribution networks. This research makes a novel contribution discipline in this setting. The novelty of work aims design new emulator control approach for doubly fed induction generator (DFIG)-based system. A description system was provided first. Secondly, strategy described detail. Then, it applied both converters (machine grid sides). Three stages were used solution: (1) MATLAB/Simulink simulation validate reference’s persistence (for real step speeds) system’s robustness, (2) implementation real-time on dSPACE-DS1104 board linked an experimental laboratory bench, (3) overlapped comparison simulated data conduct thorough quantitative qualitative analysis using root-mean-square error measures. findings demonstrate that suggested model is valid presents excellent correlation between results regarding speed variation.
