Real-Time Implementation of Extended Kalman Filter Observer With Improved Speed Estimation for Sensorless Control

چکیده
This work presents an investigation on Improved Extended Kalman Filter (IEKF) performance for induction motor drive without a speed sensor. The of direct sensorless vector-controlled system through simulation and experimental is tested. proposed observer focuses estimating rotor flux mechanical from the stationary axis components. Filters' estimation depends matrix's proper value ( Q) measurement error matrix R). These matrices are assumed to be persistent calculated by trial-and-error method. But, operating environment affects these values. They must updated based prevailing conditions get high accurate estimates. values Q R in EKF algorithm obtained using genetic algorithm. Besides, IEKF incorporated reduce computational burden real-time applications.
