Random Maintenance Strategy Modeling of Warranted Products with Reliability Heterogeneity

Using monitored job cycles to design and model random maintenance strategies for ensuring life-cycle reliability has been extensively researched. The heterogeneity over the life cycle ignored universally in this type of strategy. In paper, using two different areas regions that can screen reliability, were customized reliabilities warrantied products with be ensured based on heterogeneity. case minimal repair, first one was flexibly depending whether failure occurs region consisting limited or a period warranty service, whichever first. Such strategy is called flexible repair (FRWF) used ensure warranty-stage during product’s cycle. FRWF modeled from perspectives cost time measures. Based product through its another region, periodic replacement (RPR) classic (CPR) are triggered customize second one, which named bivariate (BCRM) because decision variables considered. BCRM variants average rates. Finally, numerical analysis some performed perspective. Numerical showed presented superior free (FRW) servicing longer than FRW at same cost.
