چکیده
The effect of oxidation on nascent soot particles is investigated in this work by means Raman spectroscopy. Three different particle samples are produced a lightly sooting ethylene/air laminar premixed flame and collected at residence times. characterized size primary degree aging hence graphitization, they representative the early evolution flames. Oxidation induced exposing to high temperature treatment air over range 25–500°C. To aim, programmable heating microscope stage used. Thermo-optical transmission (TOT) measurements used characterize chemical composition pristine terms organic elemental carbon content, also providing pyrolytic fraction carbon. TOT results show that constant for three conditions. On other hand, decreases increases when moving from sample composed just-nucleated mostly made mature particles. spectroscopy reveals thermal performed particles, with highest reduction amorphous component. Conversely, soot, shows an increase phase after oxidation, which attributed fragmentation or formation point defects O 2 oxidation. Finally, procedure produces strong photoluminescence signal detected spectra.

STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS OF CYCLOSPORIN-A BY RAMAN TECHNIQUE
The Raman spectrum of cyclosporin-A has been recorded in the solid phase. The conformation of the molecule has been discussed on the basis of Raman data. It has been concluded that in agreement with X-ray data, cyclosporin-A molecule has an antiparallel P- pleated sheet conformation. It may have some reverse P- turn structure in what has been assigned to a random coil conformation.
متن کاملRaman spectroscopy: a structural probe of glycosaminoglycans.
We report the first Raman spectroscopic study of the glycosaminoglycans chondroitin 4-sulfate, chondroitin 6-sulfate and hyaluronic acid, both in solution and in the solid state. To aid in spectral identification, infrared spectra were also recorded from films of these samples. Vibrational frequencies for important functional groups like the sulfate groups, glycosidic linkages, C-OH and the N-a...
متن کاملRaman spectroscopy explores molecular structural signatures of hidden materials in depth: Universal Multiple Angle Raman Spectroscopy
Non-invasive 3D imaging in materials and medical research involves methodologies such as X-ray imaging, MRI, fluorescence and optical coherence tomography, NIR absorption imaging, etc., providing global morphological/density/absorption changes of the hidden components. However, molecular information of such buried materials has been elusive. In this article we demonstrate observation of molecul...
متن کاملBlood analysis by Raman spectroscopy.
Concentrations of multiple analytes were simultaneously measured in whole blood with clinical accuracy, without sample processing, using near-infrared Raman spectroscopy. Spectra were acquired with an instrument employing nonimaging optics, designed using Monte Carlo simulations of the influence of light-scattering-absorbing blood cells on the excitation and emission of Raman light in turbid me...
متن کاملLaser Micro-Raman Spectroscopy of CVD Nanocrystalline Diamond Thin Film
Laser micro-Raman spectroscopy is an ideal tool for assessment and characterization of various types of carbon-based materials. Due to its special optical properties (CrN) coated stainless steel substrates. NCD films have been investigated by laser micro-Raman spectroscopy. The fingerprint of diamond based materials is in the spectral region of 1000-1600 cm-1 in the first order of Raman scatter...
