Radiostereometric Analysis of Biceps Tenodesis: A Comparison of Techniques

Biceps tenodesis (BT) is a common procedure for treatment of anterior shoulder pain due to long head the biceps pathology. There paucity literature comparing different arthroscopic and open methods various fixation techniques. The purpose this study was compare 4 techniques via radiostereometric analysis. This prospective non-randomized trial. All patients were treated at single institution. Four analyzed, 1) subpectoral BT with screw fixation, 2) suture anchor 3) suprapectoral 4) two fixation.
