چکیده
Abstract Background The ongoing global pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) may cause, in addition to lung disease, a wide spectrum non-respiratory complications. Among these are thromboembolic theories that explain the mechanism complications COVID-19 accumulating rapidly, and role imaging for assessment pneumonia, CT be useful identification complications, such as pulmonary embolism, ischaemic stroke, mesenteric ischaemia, acro-ischaemia. Results Thromboembolic manifestations were diagnosed 10% our patients (124 out total 1245 patients); 56 (45.2%) presented with 32 (25.8%) cerebrovascular manifestations, 17 (13.7%) limb affection, 19 (15.3%) gastrointestinal Most had significant comorbidities; diabetes was found 72 (58%), dyslipidemia smoking 71 (57.3%), hypertension 63 (50.8%), morbid obesity 40 (32.2%). events on admission 41 (33.1%), during first week 61 (49.2%), after 22 (17.7%). Conclusions incidence is relatively high resulting multisystem thrombotic disease. In crucial important peripheral especially elevated d -dimer levels those sudden clinical deterioration.
