چکیده
In this work we consider a Generalized Bronnikov-Ellis wormhole and the tideless Morris-Thorne study propagation of massive scalar fields. We calculate quasinormal frequencies using WKB method pseudospectal Chebyshev show presence an anomalous decay rate for modes in wormhole. However, such behaviour is avoided fundamental mode background.

Negative modes in the four–dimensional stringy wormholes
We study the Giddings–Strominger wormholes in string theories. We found a non–singular wormhole solution and analyzed the perturbation around this wormhole solution. We have used the bilinear action to obtain Schrödinger– type equation for perturbation fields assuming a linear relation between the perturbation fields. With this analysis, we found an infinite number of negative modes among O(4)–...
متن کاملScalar fields, energy conditions and traversable wormholes
We describe the different possibilities that a simple and apparently quite harmless classical scalar field theory provides to violate the energy conditions. We demonstrate that a nonminimally coupled scalar field with a positive curvature coupling ξ > 0 can easily violate all the standard energy conditions, up to and including the averaged null energy condition (ANEC). Indeed, this violation of...
متن کاملScalar gravitational perturbations and quasinormal modes in the five dimensional Schwarzschild black hole
We calculate the quasinormal modes (QNMs) for gravitational perturbations of the Schwarzschild black hole in the five dimensional (5D) spacetime with a continued fraction method. As shown by Kodama and Ishibashi, the gravitational perturbations of higher-dimensional (higher-D) Schwarzschild black holes can be divided into three decoupled classes, namely scalar-gravitational, vectorgravitational...
متن کاملRenormalίzation Theory in Four Dimensional Scalar Fields (II)
We interpret the results of the preceding paper (I) in terms of partial resummations of the perturbative series for the effective interaction. As an application we sketch how our resummation method leads to a simple summation rule leading to a convergent expansion for the Schwinger functions of the planar Φ^-theory.
