The concept of analytic continuation allows for the extension understanding functions, such as complex optical fields, beyond scope measurements. use quantitative phase imaging, described by zeros, presents an elegant mathematical interpretation that bridges gap between fields holography and analysis.

Fourier ptychographic microscopy (FPM) is a recently developed imaging modality that uses angularly varying illumination to extend a system's performance beyond the limit defined by its optical components. The FPM technique applies a novel phase-retrieval procedure to achieve resolution enhancement and complex image recovery. In this Letter, we compare FPM data to theoretical prediction and pha...
Quantitative phase imaging with spectral-domain optical coherence phase microscopy
Spectral domain optical coherence phase microscopy provides high resolution quantitative phase measurement. Using a common path Fourier domain optical coherence tomography system, this technique is capable of excellent phase stability of less than 1 milliradian and high imaging speed of up to several hundred KHz Aline rate. The limitation of 2π ambiguity restriction can be overcome by the use o...
Thermal imaging of nanostructures by quantitative optical phase analysis.
We introduce an optical microscopy technique aimed at characterizing the heat generation arising from nanostructures, in a comprehensive and quantitative manner. Namely, the technique permits (i) mapping the temperature distribution around the source of heat, (ii) mapping the heat power density delivered by the source, and (iii) retrieving the absolute absorption cross section of light-absorbin...
