چکیده
Abstract A variety of vitamin E dietary supplement capsules (DSC) based on different natural oils or synthesis products are currently found the market whose contents need to be controlled before and after marketing. Here, we present an instrumental thin-layer chromatography (TLC) method which allows a direct determination all tocopherols (T) tocotrienols (T3) as well α -tocopherol acetate simultaneously in one run with short analysis time. For this purpose, DSC were extracted, applied silica gel 60 plates, developed n -hexane/ethyl acetate/acetic acid, 90:10:2 ( v/v/v ) mobile phase. The UV scan plate at 293 nm was used for quantification peak height. Following scan, treated 10% sulphuric acid methanol led characteristic yellow-to-brown colouring tocochromanol spots allowed distinguish tocochromanols from matrix components similar R f values. In most cases, determined matched information listed label investigated samples. is fast, easy perform gently treats analytes it requires no thermal treatment prior quantification, makes suitable screening method.

What are the advantages offered by instrumental Thin-Layer Chromatography?
Instrumental Thin-Layer Chromatography (or Planar Chromatography) is a modern separation technique, established worldwide and distinguished by flexibility, reliability and cost efficiency. Together with HPLC and GC it belongs to the microanalytical methods, which play an important role in research and routine laboratories. In many cases instrumental Thin-Layer Chromatography offers a more suita...

The carotenoids of yellow, red and tangerine tomato fruits were separated and identified by thin-layer chromatography (TLC). β-carotene is extracted with a mixture content hexan and acetone. The various systems of adsorbents and solvents for TLC of carote and tomato carotenes were examined, and it was revealed that the most suitable TLC system for separation and identification was silica gel pl...

Synthetic dyes comprise a large group of organic, organic salt and organometallic compounds which number in the thousands. Most individual dyes are assigned colour index (CI) numbers which helps to identify structure and properties as well as identity where a series of names have been used by the manufacturers for the same dye. Pigments are also listed and can be either organic or inorganic in ...
