Quality of life and financial toxicity of hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients in COVID-19

Objective: to evaluate and correlate the quality of life financial toxicity adult patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation during COVID-19 pandemic. Method: observational, analytical study, carried out with 35 in a reference hospital for Latin America. For data collection, Functional Assessment Cancer Therapy Bone Marrow Transplantation COmprehensive Score Financial Toxicity questionnaires were used. Spearman Mann-Whitney correlation tests used analysis. Results: general had low score (67.09/108) greater impairment functional well-being (14.47/28), social (16.76/28) additional concerns (23.41/40). The means allogeneic group lower than those autologous all domains, showing significant difference relation (p=0.01) treatment evaluation index (p=0.04). was considered have slight impact (22.11/44). There relationship, albeit not significant, between (p=0.051). Conclusion: sample low; there is toxicity, although significant. higher life.
