QCD Axion Kinetic Misalignment without Prejudice

The axion field, the angular direction of complex scalar field associated with spontaneous symmetry breaking Peccei-Quinn (PQ) symmetry, could have originated initial non-zero velocity. presence a velocity resulting from additional terms in potential that explicitly break PQ has important phenomenological consequences such as modification mass respect to conventional framework or an explanation for observed matter-antimatter asymmetry. We elaborate further on "kinetic misalignment" mechanism, assuming axions form entirety dark matter abundance. kinetic misalignment mechanism possesses {\it weak} limit which starts oscillate at same temperature framework, and strong} corresponding large velocities effectively delay onset oscillations. Following UV-agnostic approach, we show how this scenario impacts formation miniclusters, sketch details these substructures along detecting signatures.
