چکیده
Recycling used plastic can help reduce the amount of waste generated. Existing methods, namely process pyrolysis, are chemical heating processes that decompose plastics in absence oxygen. This decomposes a controlled environment order to produce fuel from waste. The present study consequently investigated physical and properties pyrolysis oil derived bottle caps (WPBCO) effects on engine performance emission characteristics diesel operating WPBCO. experiments were conducted with single-cylinder at constant 1500 rpm under various loading conditions. experimental results test fuels indicated WPBCO have similar functional groups components. In comparison, has lower kinematic viscosity, density, specific gravity, flash point, fire cetane index, distillation behavior than fuel. However, high gross calorific value, which makes it suitable replacement for fossil comparison fuel, use engines increased brake-specific consumption (BSFC) brake thermal efficiency (BTE) all load combustion indicate resulted decreased in-cylinder pressure (ICP), rate heat release (RoHR), stability compared addition, advances start more strongly emissions NOX, CO, HC, smoke. particulate matter (PM) analysis showed generated higher PM concentration When was combusted, maximum soot oxidation required temperature, meaning oxidizing took less energy easier break down soot.

Rural electrification from local resources : Biomass pyrolysis oil combustion in a direct injection diesel engine
As the production process continues to be refined, biomass pyrolysis oils are increasingly being considered as potentially feasible renewable fuels. Combustion of pyrolysis oils in diesel engines has been scarcely studied, and the few studies which have been performed indicate that these fuels exhibit excessively long ignition delay, rendering them dependant on auxiliary ignition sources for di...

متن کاملCombustion and Pyrolysis Reactions of Alkylated Polycyclic Aromatic Compounds: The Decomposition of C Methylarenes in relation to Diesel Engine Emissions
The thermal decomposition of methylarenes labelled with C in the methyl group was investigated. This was conducted using both a direct injection diesel engine and a pyrolysis flow cell connected to a GC-MS. 2-[C] methylnaphthalene and 9-[C] methylphenanthrene were synthesized by means of the Corey-House coupling reaction and their identity and purity confirmed by mass spectrometry and NMR. GC-M...

This paper presents the results of experimental work carried out to evaluate the distribution of cold and hot exhaust gas recirculation between cylinders in a DI diesel engine. The experiments have been conducted on a 3.99 liters turbocharged DI diesel engine under full load condition at 1900rpm in order to distinguish and quantify some effects of hot and cooled EGR with various rates on the EG...
