Treatment of patients with polytrauma is a difficult problem for surgeons and physicians intensive care units due to the fact that multiple complex lesion often serves as trigger development number life-threatening complications, such pulmonary embolism (PE). Despite existing methods prevention treatment embolism, this complication in accompanied by massive hemorrhageisstill remains an unsolved problem. This article presents clinical case isolated PE during performing osteosynthesis patient stable condition achieved after therapy within week. The analize studies considering thrombus formation various parts vascular bed pathophysioliogycal mechanisms systemicinflammatory response has been performed. Riskfactors forpulmonary prophylaxis are studied. Taking into consideration currently available research data dedicated issue, idea about generalized nature pathological process which can be manifested deep vein thrombosis or their combination expressed. In respect insufficient effectiveness thromboprophylaxis, need work out other additional laboratory diagnostic blood coagulation system assessment responsively therapeutic being considered.
