چکیده
The development of new heterogeneous Pt-containing catalysts has retained its relevance over the past decades. present paper describes method to produce metal–carbon composites, Pt1?xNix/CNF, with an adjustable Pt/Ni ratio. composites represent Pt1?xNix (x = 0.0–1.0) nanoparticles embedded within a structure carbon nanofibers (CNF). synthesis is based on spontaneous disintegration alloys in ethylene-containing atmosphere formation CNF. initial were prepared by thermolysis multicomponent precursors. They possess porous formed fragments 100–200 nm. As was shown X-ray diffraction analysis, crystal containing 0–30 and 60–100 at.% Ni corresponds fcc lattice platinum (Fm-3m), while Pt0.50Ni0.50 sample intermetallic compound tetragonal (P4/mmm). impact content samples their activity ethylene decomposition studied as well. revealed, efficiency this process increases rise concentration. composite examined electrochemical hydrogen evolution reaction. synthesized Pt1-xNix/CNF demonstrated superior if compared Pt/Vulcan commercial catalyst.

15 صفحه اولCatalytic Synthesis of Carbon Nanotubes and Nanofibers
Carbon nanotubes and nanofibers are graphitic filaments/whiskers with diameters ranging from 0.4 to 500 nm and lengths in the range of several micrometers to millimeters. Carbon nanofibers and nanotubes are grown by the diffusion of carbon (via catalytic decomposition of carbon containing gases or vaporized carbon from arc discharge or laser ablation) through a metal catalyst and its subsequent...
متن کاملCarbon nanofibers grown on metallic filters as novel catalytic materials
Carbon nanofibers (CNF) were synthesized on sintered metal fibers (SMF) filters of nickel and Ni-containing alloys (Inconel, stainless steel (SS)) by thermal chemical vapor deposition of ethane in the presence of hydrogen at 660 8C. The CNFs were formed directly over the SMF filters without deposition of metal particles. The catalytic active sites leading to the CNF formation were attained by o...
متن کاملSynthesis of Ni-Ru alloy nanoparticles and their high catalytic activity in dehydrogenation of ammonia borane.
We report the synthesis and characterization of new Ni(x)Ru(1-x) (x = 0.56-0.74) alloy nanoparticles (NPs) and their catalytic activity for hydrogen release in the ammonia borane hydrolysis process. The alloy NPs were obtained by wet-chemistry method using a rapid lithium triethylborohydride reduction of Ni(2+) and Ru(3+) precursors in oleylamine. The nature of each alloy sample was fully chara...

Palladium nanoparticles supported on multi-walled carbon nanotubes (Pd/MWCNTs) have been synthesized using a modified polyol reduction method and its performance in methanol oxidation reactions has evaluated. The morphology of palladium on MWCNTs was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The catalytic performance of synthesized catalyst ...
