Psychological Wellbeing: Toward an Innovative Provision of Mental Health and Wellbeing in the United Arab Emirates

While physical health strategies have been developed through establishing healthcare centers and e-services, psychological services not improved by the same degree, especially in UAE. Since ongoing COVID-19 pandemic was declared a public emergency January 2020, demand for services—including mental healthcare—has increased led to detection of several global gaps within systems. Thus, it is essential understand requirements advanced technologies approaches provide services. Nevertheless, social cohesion, financial burden, associated stigma are among primary factors behind reluctance approach wellbeing Consequently, this study aims explore how innovation can support provision assist spreading awareness reduce stigma, context A qualitative research design afollowed, that focuses on preliminary literature review innovative methods applied area Additionally, data collected conducting focus group discussion specialized counselors, psychologists, other related professionals working city Abu Dhabi. The acquired were analyzed based objective with NVivo Software (QSR 2.0). fidings evaluated present results answered questions. coding process finalizing six unified codes extracted into correlated themes: Workplace environment, Counseling sessions, School children matters, concerns, Treatment mode, Future development.
