Psychological Contracts and Organizational Commitment: The Positive Impact of Relational Contracts on Call Center Operators

With the increasing complexity and dynamism of modern work experience, importance psychological contract has become increasingly clear. Organizations researchers alike have recognized implications this for employee performance, satisfaction well-being. However, certain contexts can increase psychosocial risks, making it crucial to investigate individual contextual characteristics that promote well-being mitigate risks. In study, we examined impact types task repetitiveness on organizational commitment among call center employees. By conducting a cross-sectional study involving 201 employees working in-person administering an ad hoc questionnaire, aimed enrich scientific literature its environment. Our findings revealed transactional negative affective normative commitment, potentially undermining employees’ sense obligation responsibility towards these organizations. To healthy relationships employees, suggest relational contract. highlighting role in our offers valuable insights both practitioners.
