The purpose of this study is to find out the types and causes speech errors made Harris at Debate Candidates for Vice President America. design research was qualitative design. data were in form words, phrases, sentences that contain errors. taken running a YouTube. collected through stages: finding determining, classifying, separating qualitatively using analysis phase Miles, Huberman, Saldana: condensation, display, verification. result shows based Clark & Clark’s theory found are: silent pause 25 times, filled 27 repeats 21 retraced false starts 1 time, unretraced correction 2 stutter times interjection times. There no slip tongue. are social factors both situational anxiety circumstances
