چکیده
Abstract This study aimed to estimate the effect of wheat cultivars on in vitro rumen digestibility and fermentation characteristics sprouted grains. Three cultivars, Arriheuk (ARH), Saekeumkang (SAK), Jokyoung (JOK), were harvested at 6 days cultivation stages, while Keunalbory (KEA) was a positive control. The collected grains dried 55oC for 48 h, ground pass 1-mm screen chemical compositions incubation. For incubation, fluid from cannulated Hanwoo heifer mixed with Van Soest medium 1:2 ratio. Ground (0.3 g) mixture fluid/Van (30 mL) placed into incubation bottles quadruplicates incubated 0, 24, h. After bottle contents centrifuged collect supernatant residues analyses digestibilities dry matter (IVDMD) organic (IVOMD), respectively. Crude protein content (27.7 vs. 20.4%) JOK greater (P< 0.05) than that KEA, but lowest ARH SAK. crude ash, neutral detergent fiber, acid fiber lower AK SK KEA. IVDMD (58.7 64.7%) IVOMD (71.9 77.1%) less SAK In pH highest JOK, ammonia-N other Total volatile fatty SAK, molar percent propionate butyrate greatest ARH, Therefore, this could conclude had feed values similar

Effect of (Pleurotus florida) Fungi on Chemical Composition and Rumen Degradability of Wheat and Barley Straw
This study was conducted to investigate the effect of biological treatment withPleurotus floridafungi on chemical composition and rumen dry matter (DM) and organic matter (OM) degradability of wheat and barley straw. Wheat and barley straw were collected from Golestan province of Iran and after pasteurization mixed with fungi spawn (than 5% by weight). After 21 days samples were dried in oven (...

Effects of different levels of cadmium (0.1, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 mg/l of culture medium) were evaluated using gas production technique. In the glass vials used to measure gas production 30 mg of buffered rumen fluid (2:1 ratio of rumen fluid: buffer) poured in glass and cultured at 38.6 temperature. Volume and pressure of produced gas were measured with syringes and digital pressur...

متن کاملThe Effects of Additives in Napier Grass Silages on Chemical Composition, Feed Intake, Nutrient Digestibility and Rumen Fermentation
The effect of silage additives on ensiling characteristics and nutritive value of Napier grass (Pennisetum purpureum) silages was studied. Napier grass silages were made with no additive, fermented juice of epiphytic lactic acid bacteria (FJLB), molasses or cassava meal. The ensiling characteristics were determined by ensiling Napier grass silages in airtight plastic pouches for 2, 4, 7, 14, 21...
