چکیده

This study focused on examining the proximate analysis of Coffea Canephora var that was enhanced with endemic floral species. The physico-chemical analyses conducted revealed Solanum nigrum coffee had a moisture content 13.42%, crude fat 2.47%, protein 15.12%, ash 6.35%, and total carbohydrate 64.52% (w/w) 348 Kcal energy per serving. Similarly, Colocasia sp. cf. Formosana hayata 12.15%, 3.03%, 11.29%, 6.68%, 68.86% 355 Furthermore, Momordica charantia 10.01%, 1.41%, 13.78%, 6.46%, 70.39% 356 It showed three coffees an average intake 3%, which can supplement Required Energy Nutrient Intake adult Filipino. results provide low-fat enriched in Kalinga table, as presented its nutrition facts. However, further investigation is required to determine safety microbiological quality species, particularly quantification amino acids, vitamins, minerals. Additionally, it recommended investigate acceptability, market analysis, utilization locally grown traditionally used plant species could enhance enrich meet country's demand.

SNPs Based Molecular Diversity of Coffea canephora

Coffee offers one of the most widely drunk beverages in the world, and is a very important source of foreign currency income for many countries. Coffea canephora Pierre presents a great genetic variability, with one of the widest natural geographical distribution within the subgenus. Newly developed single nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) markers are effective in genetic diversity detection. The o...

Biosynthesis of chlorogenic acids in growing and ripening fruits of Coffea arabica and Coffea canephora plants.

Chlorogenic acids are major secondary metabolites found in coffee seeds. The accumulation of chlorogenic acids and free quinic acids was studied in Coffea arabica cv. Tall Mokka and Coffea canephora seeds. Growth stages are specified from I to V, corresponding to rapid expansion and pericarp growth (I), endosperm formation (II), mature (green) (III), ripening (pink) (IV), and fully ripened (red...

Thidiazuron induced somatic embryogenesis in Coffea arabica L. and Coffea canephora P ex Fr

The rapid direct and repetitive somatic embryogenesis in Coffea arabica and C. canephora genotypes was tested on Murashige and Skoog medium (MS) containing thidiazuron (TDZ) (1-phenyl-3-(1,2,3,-thiadiazol-5-yl)urea) in concentrations of 2.27–11.35s M. Segments taken from cotyledon leaf, first leaf and stalk of regenerated plantlets produced clusters of somatic embryos directly from cut portions...

Identification of novel and conserved microRNAs in Coffea canephora and Coffea arabica

As microRNAs (miRNAs) are important regulators of many biological processes, a series of small RNAomes from plants have been produced in the last decade. However, miRNA data from several groups of plants are still lacking, including some economically important crops. Here microRNAs from Coffea canephora leaves were profiled and 58 unique sequences belonging to 33 families were found, including ...

Analysis of Phosphorus Use Efficiency Traits in Coffea Genotypes Reveals Coffea arabica and Coffea canephora Have Contrasting Phosphorus Uptake and Utilization Efficiencies

BACKGROUND AND AIMS Phosphate (Pi) is one of the most limiting nutrients for agricultural production in Brazilian soils due to low soil Pi concentrations and rapid fixation of fertilizer Pi by adsorption to oxidic minerals and/or precipitation by iron and aluminum ions. The objectives of this study were to quantify phosphorus (P) uptake and use efficiency in cultivars of the species Coffea arab...
