Proton mass decomposition: Naturalness and interpretations

چکیده
I discuss the scope and naturalness of proton mass decomposition (or sum rule) published in Phys. Rev. Lett. 74, 1071 (1995) answer a few criticisms that appeared recently literature, focusing particularly on its interpretation quantum anomalous energy contribution. comment so-called frame-independent or invariant-mass from trace energy-momentum tensor. stress importance measuring through experiments. Finally, point out large discrepancy scalar radius nucleon extracted vector-meson productions lattice QCD calculations.

Theoretical Interpretations of Low-mass Dileptons *
An overview is given of chiral symmetry restoration at finite temperature and bary-ochemical potential. Within hadronic models of the vector correlator its implications for low-mass dilepton spectra in ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions are discussed.
متن کاملThe Two Interpretations of the Beveridge–nelson Decomposition
The Beveridge–Nelson decomposition calculates trend and cycle for an integrated time series. However, there are two ways to interpret the results from the decomposition. One interpretation is that the optimal long-run forecast (minus any deterministic drift) used to calculate the Beveridge–Nelson trend corresponds to an estimate of an unobserved permanent component. The other interpretation is ...

Metabolomics complements investigation of the genome, transcriptome, and proteome of an organism. Today, the vast majority of metabolites remain unknown, in particular for non-model organisms. Mass spectrometry is one of the predominant techniques for analyzing small molecules such as metabolites. A fundamental step for identifying a small molecule is to determine its molecular formula. Here, w...
متن کاملProton-transfer reaction mass spectrometry.
Proton-transfer reaction mass spectrometry (PTR-MS) is a technique developed almost exclusively for the detection of gaseous organic compounds in air. Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in air have both natural and anthropogenic sources. Natural sources include the emission of organic gases by living objects, both plants and animals. A well-known example, which is discussed later in this review,...
متن کاملPhotometric mass and mass decomposition in early-type lens galaxies
Context. The largest spectroscopically selected sample of strong gravitational lens systems has been recently presented and analyzed by the Sloan Lens ACS (SLACS) Survey. For the 57 massive early-type lens galaxies in the sample, photometric and spectroscopic measurements are available from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS). Aims. By using the SDSS multicolor photometry and lens modeling, we ...
