چکیده

Background: The skin serves as the first line of defense for human body. Direct sunlight contains damaging radiations that can speed up ageing process skin, resulting in wrinkles, leathery dark patches, and solar elastosis. Objectives: To evaluate effect multiple irradiation related factors at protein level dermal fibroblast (HDF). overall individual irradiations such Infrared A (IRA), blue light (BL), UVA, UVB on HDF cells extent molecular aberrations to be assessed compared against each. Methods: Label-free quantitative proteomics (MS/MS) approach has been adopted this study observe changes induced through various exposures full sources. Following that, downstream insilico analysis carried out. Results: In study, it is demonstrated all four different significantly contribute degeneration mechanisms. This confirms BL down-regulates DNA repair proteins cells-HDF stimulate histone a response mechanism maintain chromosomal integrity. Conclusions: experiment out current intends support future sun care products based protection technology custom designed provide complete from radiation. Similar could enhance further investigations deeper understanding induction, mode action, prevention damage extensive irradiation.

Telomere shortening in cultured human dermal fibroblasts is associated with acute photodamage induced by UVA irradiation

INTRODUCTION Photoaging is the superposition of chronic ultraviolet (UV)-induced damage on intrinsic aging. Telomere length is a molecular marker of cell aging, and genomic instability due to telomere shortening has been linked to several aging-related diseases. AIM To explore the effects of different doses of ultraviolet A (UVA) on the length of telomeres in human skin fibroblasts and partly...

Effects of infrared, blue light and UVA-II on human skin

Knowledge about environmental factors that are aggressive to skin has increased in recent years. Although concern previously focused primarily on UVA and UVB, this has broadened to contain damage from pollution, tobacco smoke, other ambient toxins, infrared light, blue light and UVA-II. This article reviews the negative effects of infrared, blue light and UVA-II on skin. Potential protective a...

Photoprotective Effects of Cycloheterophyllin against UVA-Induced Damage and Oxidative Stress in Human Dermal Fibroblasts

Ultraviolet (UV) radiation, particularly ultraviolet A (UVA), is known to play a major role in photoaging of the human skin. Many studies have demonstrated that UV exposure causes the skin cells to generate reactive oxygen species and activates the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway. Previous studies have also demonstrated that cycloheterophyllin has an antioxidant effect and can e...

Decursin inhibits UVB-induced MMP expression in human dermal fibroblasts via regulation of nuclear factor-κB.

Decursin, a coumarin compound, was originally isolated from the roots of Angelica gigas almost four decades ago, and it was found to exhibit cytotoxicity against various types of human cancer cells and anti-amnesic activity in vivo through the inhibition of AChE activity. However, the anti-skin photoaging effects of decursin have not been reported to date. In the present study, we investigated ...
