Prosthetic rehabilitation in a rare case of mandibular Mucormycosis with osteomyelitis

In this case report our main goal was to preserve the patient’s remaining teeth and providing a prosthesis during healing period which will serve for both mastication healing. Mandibular anterior were lost due osteomyelitis, leaving unhealed necrotic area. Curettage done salvage perfused bone. Use of removable with on occlusal surface silicone soft liner intaglio surface, served purpose prevented underlying operated tissues from further trauma. Major emphasis given keratinization preparation better foundation placement stress. Implant supported not opted for, prevent patient trauma major surgical intervention. The used in case, fulfil nutritional aesthetic needs patient.
