چکیده
Improving waste management is currently one of the priorities for Ukraine in environmental safety. EU experience use mechanical biological treatment technologies should be applied now connection with development and implementation Regional Waste Management Plans Ukrainian regions. The aim paper to analyse benefits preconditions using Ukraine, as well barriers that may hinder construction plants. analysis eight drafts showed market free best option regions where there are cement plants operating production solid recovered fuel. Such types projects could affordable Ukrainians cost recovery period more than 8 years. On other hand significant obstacles economic, organizational technological nature their immediate i.e. low rates on disposal tax, partly compliance air emissions monitoring system, absence necessary standards etc. priority actions speed up have been defined.

Thermochemical Pretreatments of Organic Fraction of Municipal Solid Waste from a Mechanical-Biological Treatment Plant
The organic fraction of municipal solid waste (OFMSW) usually contains high lignocellulosic and fatty fractions. These fractions are well-known to be a hard biodegradable substrate for biological treatments and its presence involves limitations on the performance of anaerobic processes. To avoid this, thermochemical pretreatments have been applied on the OFMSW coming from a full-scale mechanica...

composting process, as one or the other is normally a limiting factor. Carbon serves primarily as an energy source for the microorganisms, while a small fraction of the carbon is incorporated in their cells. Nitrogen is critical for microbial population growth, as it is a constituent of protein which forms over 50 percent of dry bacterial cell mass. If nitrogen is limiting, microbial population...
متن کاملHydrothermal Treatment of Municipal Solid Waste to Produce Solid Fuel
This paper describes the application of innovative hydrothermal technology on local municipal solid waste (MSW) to produce low chlorine content solid co-firing fuel with coal. Raw MSW was treated at temperatures ranging from 210 to 235°C with 30 to 90 minutes holding period. The process yielded slump products which were then naturally dried to 5% moisture content, resulted in dry products with ...
متن کاملBiological Pretreatment of Municipal Solid Waste Prior to Landfilling
The conventional landfilling does not promote sustainable waste management due to uncontrolled emissions which potentially degrade the environment. In this regard, pre-treatment of municipal solid waste prior to landfilling significantly enhance waste stabilization and provides various advantages. So in this regard pre-treatment methods of municipal solid waste were investigated. The major obje...

EPA expects this to increase to more than 2,300 pounds of garbage per person each year within the next 1 2 years. Whether it is recycled, buried or burned, the fate of this refuse has major impacts on public health, the environment and the economy. United States citizens generate W...
