چکیده

Objective: The objective of this prospective study was to evaluate the clinical and radiological outcomes percutaneous screw fixation anterior column acetabulum, guided by fluoroscopy. Methods: A conducted on a cohort patients with acetabular fractures who underwent fixation. procedure performed under fluoroscopic guidance ensure accurate placement. Clinical evaluations were preoperatively, postoperatively, during follow-up visits. evaluation included assessment pain, functional outcomes, complications. Radiological involved assessing adequacy fracture reduction, position, subsequent bone healing. Results: total 21 mean age 41.71±13.16 in study. Males 14 cases (66.7%) followed 7 females (33.3%). Road traffic accidents accounts major proportion affected individuals 18 (85.7%) fall from height accounting 3 (14.3%). majority had traumatic injuries due high-energy impact. Maximum time duration required 55 minutes minimum 15 average 25.6 minutes. In regular follow ups at 6th month score 17, maximum i.e. out having excellent results 2 good results. Conclusion: Percutaneous acetabulum is viable treatment option for fractures. It provides favorable terms pain relief improvement.

Percutaneous transrenal retrieval of fractured nephrostomy tube under fluoroscopic guidance.

Percutaneous nephrostomy is a safe procedure, performed routinely by interventional radiologists, and has a low complication rate. We report an unusual case of a fractured nephrostomy tube, retained within the kidney, having its fractured end trapped within the healed retroperitoneal tract. The catheter was retrieved by snaring it, using a percutaneous access to the collecting system. We descri...

Percutaneous fixation of anterior and posterior column acetabular fractures.

Although open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) has been the standard of care for acetabular fractures, recent advancements in minimally invasive techniques have allowed percutaneous fixation to gain popularity. Percutaneous technique has been described in the literature as an adjuvant to ORIF. However, isolated percutaneous fixation has the advantage of limiting soft tissue disruption, le...

Percutaneous anterior C1/2 transarticular screw fixation: salvage of failed percutaneous odontoid screw fixation for odontoid fracture

BACKGROUND The objective of this study is to investigate the outcomes and safety of using percutaneous anterior C1/2 transarticular screw fixation as a salvage technique for odontoid fracture if percutaneous odontoid screw fixation fails. METHODS Fifteen in 108 odontoid fracture patients (planned to be treated by percutaneous anterior odontoid screw fixation) were failed to introduce satisfac...

Percutaneous Sacroplasty for Sacral Metastatic Tumors Under Fluoroscopic Guidance Only

Percutaneous sacroplasty is a safe and effective procedure for sacral insufficient fractures under CT or fluoroscopic guidance; although, few reports exist about sacral metastatic tumors. We designed a pilot study to treat intractable pain caused by a sacral metastatic tumor with sacroplasty. A 62-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman with medically intractable pain due to metastatic tumors of S...

Percutaneous Ilio-Sacral Screw Fixation in Supine Position under Fluoroscopy Guidance.

BACKGROUND Pelvic ring disruption when treated conservatively can be associated with prolonged hospital stay and immobilization, mal-union, chronic pain, limb length discrepancy if they are treated conservatively. Open reduction and fixation in an already compromised soft tissue and hemodynamically unstable patient causes more soft tissue injury, heamatoma, infection and neurovascular injury. P...
