Methanol is a key material used as feedstock in the chemical industry which mainly produced from natural gas and coal. Indonesia well-known for its resources including large reserves of become third largest Asia-Pacific. However, even Asia are having gaps between production demand that need to be fulfilled. only has one methanol producer still importing amount it despite increasing demand. A national company considering possibility produce order fulfill well diversification give adding value also commercialize oversupply termination export contract. The objective this research find best business strategy various challenges opportunities. methodology qualitative quantitative methods using secondary data primary data. collected through questionnaire involved companies confirm obstacles sourcing methanol. conduct external internal analysis PESTEL, Porter’s Five Forces, Customer Analysis, VRIO Framework. identified opportunities then generate TOWS Matrix 4P Marketing Mix. As result, recommended will supplier set competitive product price, choose strategic place with high access resources, promote sustainability impact multiplier effect attract stakeholders shareholders, utilize existing customer channel new product.
