Current efforts to develop high-fidelity multi-physics tools for research reactors with IRT-4M fuel leads the involvement of Monte-Carlo transport and subchannel thermo-hydraulic codes in process safety assessment. based neutronic are often used as a reference tool suitable prediction detailed power distribution. This paper proposes method point-wise reconstruction on Radial Basis Function (RBF) interpolation complicated irregular geometries compares different detector functionalities Serpent2 code from time efficiency point view. Furthermore, preliminary validation applied SUBSALS mesh is presented. currently under evelopment at Research Centre Rež Czech Technical University Prague focuses thermohydraulic analysis IRT type assemblies.
