Prophylactic Use of Tranexamic Acid in Reducing Blood Loss during Elective Cesarean Section

چکیده
Primary postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) plays a major role in maternal mortality and morbidity like severe anemia, blood transfusion requirement, hospital stay infection. Tranexamic acid is now recommended treatment of PPH, yet its prophylactic use before delivery still not recommended.
