Propagation of Chia Plants Using Plant Tissue Culture Technique

Back Ground: The plant tissue culture technique is one of the biotechnologies that meansisolating a cell, or organ, sterilizing it and cultivating on sterile artificial foodmedia under conditions completely free pathogens, then transplanted part developsinto complete similar to original from which was taken. Under controlledenvironmental temperature, humidity lighting, as defined by others sterilecultivation cells, tissues, organs their components certain chemical physicalconditions in vitro.Objectives: This study aimed propagate medicinal chia using ofplant culture.Materials Methods: research carried out Plant Tissue Culture Laboratoryof College Agriculture, Anbar University. Sterilized seeds were sown MSnutrient medium equipped with GA3 growth regulator for purpose obtainingvegetative growths cultivation tubes, at rate seed per vial, tweezerspreviously sterilized alcohol flame. After obtaining required growths, stemnodes cut into pieces 1 cm long planted MS prepared differentconcentrations BA (0.5, 1, 2, 3) mg L -1 . And interfering NAA (0.1, 0.2, 0.3) -1with aim emergence multiplication vegetative branches within factorialexperiment two factors (4 × 4) 10 replications each treatment. 16 hours 8hours dark.  Results: It observed through obtained results there significant differencesbetween regulators used experiment themultiplication branches.Conclusions: Regarding doubling stage, an increase number asthe concentration increases.
