Progress in aggregation?induced emission?active fluorescent polymeric hydrogels

چکیده
Aggregation-induced emission (AIE)-active fluorescent polymeric hydrogels (FPHs) are the marriage of AIE-active materials and hydrogels. Different from widely studied that primarily used in solution or dry solid state, they feature a three-dimensional crosslinked polymer network can absorb water without dissolving. Consequently, known to bear many advantageous properties such as soft wet nature, tissue-like mechanical strength, biocompatibility, biomimetic self-healing feature, facilely tailored structure, well responsive fluorescence volume/shape changes, thus representing promising category luminescent with frontier uses. This Review is intended give systematic summary recent progress this young but flourishing research area, particular focus on their design preparation. Current challenges future outlooks field also discussed order attract new interests inspire more efforts.
