Programs and Instruments for Promoting Innovation with Technology-Based Companies in Brazil

The need to stimulate technological entrepreneurship has been one of the biggest challenges faced in Science, Technology and Innovation Policies Brazil. Therefore, present research sought carry out a comparative study different programs instruments foster innovation for smaller companies coordinated by Federal Government operated through its Autarchies, Public Companies Social Organizations. following were used as objects: (1) STARTUP BRAZIL; (2) STARTUP-INDUSTRY CONNECTION; (3) EMBRAPII - SEBRAE PROGRAM; (4) FINEP STARTUP; (5) INDUSTRY CONNECTION 4.0; (6) CONECTA BRAZIL. We investigate aspects: proposed objectives; profiles targeted companies; promotion frequency; available financial resources; fostering cooperation with STIs, mobilization actors from ecosystem. research’s results demonstrated that there upgrades strategies innovation. New started establish new rules purpose stimulating and/or conditioning partnerships’ formation among institutions
