Program Directors' and Athletic Training Students' Educational Experiences Regarding Patient-Centered Care and Transgender Patient Care

Context The United States transgender patient population often suffers from insufficient health care and faces barriers to obtaining care. Understanding the current classroom education provided in professional athletic training programs related patient-centered is necessary foster improvements of future providers. Objective To explore education, comfort, experience students program directors (PDs) on (PCC) Design Cross-sectional survey. Setting Online Patients or Other Participants A total 74 PDs Commission Accreditation Athletic Training Education-accredited (age = 46 ± 9 years) 452 23 3 responded Data Collection Analysis Two surveys were created literature reviewed by a committee content experts. sent links their respective survey March 2020.
