چکیده
This work presents the results of studying prognostic value N-MYC gene amplification in patients with neuroblastoma treated according to European protocol NB-2004. A retrospective analysis 140 who were diagnosed from 2013-2019 was carried out at SCP and PS. When collecting data neuroblastoma, found 26 patients, which 19 died (73%), 7 are alive (survival rate -27%). Amplification NMYC occurred same frequency boys girls, 50% each group. In children under one year old, there 6 (23.1%), 1-2 years old 12 (46.2%), 2-5 5 (19.2%), over 3 (11.5%). 13 (50%) children, primary tumor localized adrenal glands, 11 (42%) - retroperitoneal space 2 (7.7%) mediastinum. 21 (80.8%) gene, disease stage IV, cases IVs, 1 (3.8%) case I, II, III disease. Thus, more often detected IV had an unfavorable outcome. The fact negative impact is confirmed our study. The therapeutic ineffective presence 27%). Keywords: Neuroblastoma, amplification, prognosis, children.

Comparison of the Initial Treatment Results of N-myc Positive and N-myc Negative Neuroblastoma Patients
Background: Neuroblastoma is the most common extra cranial malignant solid tumor of childhood. Various molecular and cytogenetic factors have been implicated in the pathogenesis of neuroblastoma, some of which have proven useful in predicting clinical behavior. Over expression of the oncogen N-myc, is an important indicator of prognosis. Materials and Methods: Our study was performed from 20...
متن کاملimpact of n-myc amplification on median survival in children with neuroblastoma
background neuroblastoma is the most common extracranial malignant solid tumor in children under 5 years, and it is characterized by wide clinical and biological heterogeneity. n-myc oncogene amplification is considered to be one of the most important prognostic factors used to evaluate survival in these patients. objectives the aim of our study was to determine amplification of the n-myc oncog...
متن کاملMutation of the p53 gene in neuroblastoma and its relationship with N-myc amplification.
Mutation of the p53 tumor suppressor gene frequently occurs in a variety of tumors including lung, breast, gastrointestinal, and brain, as well as lymphomas-leukemias. Neuroblastoma, one of the most common solid tumors in childhood, often has amplification of the N-myc gene. We examined for mutations of the p53 tumor suppressor gene by single-strand conformational polymorphism using polymerase ...
متن کاملNeuroblastoma with DNA amplification and rearrangement in the N-myc gene region.
We detected a rearrangement in the N-myc gene region in a neuroblastoma from a 9-month-old girl. In this case, the N-myc gene was amplified 50-fold in the primary tumor, the lymph node metastasis, and the hepatic metastasis. The rearrangement was detected only in the primary tumor and the lymph node metastasis, whereas N-myc RNA and protein expression were detected only in the primary tumor and...
متن کاملN-myc gene product expression in neuroblastoma.
The presence and distribution of N-myc gene product were studied in 13 neuroblastomas and five ganglioneuroblastomas, using immunohistochemical techniques. Nine tumors (eight neuroblastomas and one ganglioneuroblastoma of composite type) contained neuroblastoma cells with positive nuclei for N-myc protein. Microscopic examination showed that most of the positive neuroblastoma cells seemed to be...
