چکیده
Historically, molecular imaging of somatostatin receptor (SSTR) expression in patients with neuroendocrine tumors (NET) was performed using SSTR scintigraphy (SRS). Sustained advances medical have led to its gradual replacement positron-emission tomography (SSTR-PET). The higher sensitivity comparison SRS on the one hand and conventional cross-sectional imaging, other hand, enables more accurate staging allows for image quantification. In addition, recent years, a growing body evidence has assessed prognostic implications SSTR-PET-derived biomarkers NET patients, aim risk stratification, outcome prognostication, prediction response peptide radionuclide therapy. this narrative review, we give an overview studies examining value advanced (semi-)quantitative metrics like tumor volume, uptake, composite metrics. Complementing analysis, discussion current trends, clinical implications, future directions is provided.

Prognostic Value of 68Ga-DOTANOC PET/CT SUVmax in Patients with Neuroendocrine Tumors of the Pancreas.
UNLABELLED This study was performed to investigate the role of (68)Ga-DOTANOC SUVmax as a potential prognostic factor in patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (pNET). METHODS Among the patients who underwent (68)Ga-DOTANOC PET/CT, we retrospectively collected the data of those who had G1 or G2 pNET (2010 World Health Organization classification), presented with disease on PET/CT and C...
متن کاملEverolimus Reduces (89)Zr-Bevacizumab Tumor Uptake in Patients with Neuroendocrine Tumors.
UNLABELLED Everolimus increases progression-free survival in patients with advanced neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). Currently, no biomarkers are available for early selection of patients who will benefit from everolimus. Everolimus can reduce vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A) production by tumor cells. Therefore, we aimed to investigate the effect of everolimus on tumor uptake of the ...
متن کاملCirculating tumor cells as prognostic markers in neuroendocrine tumors.
PURPOSE To determine the prognostic significance of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in patients with neuroendocrine cancer. PATIENTS AND METHODS In this single-center prospective study, 176 patients with measurable metastatic neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) were recruited. CTCs were measured using a semiautomated technique based on immunomagnetic separation of epithelial cell adhesion molecule-ex...
