چکیده
Abstract Bioethanol production has been a challenge for the researchers with respect to enhancing bioethanol yield. In this study, we are reporting an efficient novel method produce bioethanol. The process comprises co-culture technique from wheat straw, by co-culturing Bacillus licheniformis and Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Simultaneous saccharification fermentation allows straw hydrolysis cellulase enzyme produced conversion of reducing sugar into ethanol cerevisiae . Pre-treatment optimization parameters like, time, pH, substrate concentrations nitrogen source gave net yield ? 4.11 g/l Scale up optimised media fermenter resulted in significant enhancement 14.70 g/l.

One-pot bioethanol production from cellulose by co-culture of Acremonium cellulolyticus and Saccharomyces cerevisiae
UNLABELLED BACKGROUND While the ethanol production from biomass by consolidated bioprocess (CBP) is considered to be the most ideal process, simultaneous saccharification and fermentation (SSF) is the most appropriate strategy in practice. In this study, one-pot bioethanol production, including cellulase production, saccharification of cellulose, and ethanol production, was investigated for ...

متن کاملCombined production of bioethanol and biogas from wheat straw
Due to the problems with environment and green house gases more biofuels as bioethanol and biogas needs to be produced to reduce the problems. Wheat straw as raw material is a good choice for ethanol and biogas production since wheat is the most produced crop in Sweden and the whole Europe and it isn’t competitive to food. In this study three different options for pretreatment of wheat straw, c...
متن کاملBioethanol production from oilseed rape straw hydrolysate by free and immobilised cells of Saccharomyces cerevisiae
Oilseed rape (OSR) straw can serve as a low-cost feedstock for bioethanol production. Glucose and other fermentable sugars were extracted from OSR straw using sulfuric acid pre-treatment and enzymatic hydrolysis. Batch fermentation of enzymatic hydrolysate with Saccharomyces cerevisiae immobilised in Lentikat® was found to be superior to free cells in terms of bioethanol yield. The maximum bioe...

In view of the increase in Saccharomyces cerevisiae mannan content, the culture condition for S.cerevisiae were optimized in this study. The influence of culture condition such as original pH, inoculum size, and temperature on mannan production were evaluated using Response surface methodology. The mathematical model was established by the quadratic rotary combination design. with the order of ...
