Pro-Muslim Policies in Cambodia: Bureaucratizing Halal And Hijab in Muslim Minority Country

<p>This paper explores the dynamics of Pro-Muslim policies in Kingdom Cambodia, specifically related to halal institutionalization and legalization hijab. Both are basic needs (<em>dharuriyat</em>) Islamic Law, although second is debatable. According most early-period scholars (<em>ulama klasik</em>), these two could only be fulfilled an state. Instead, Cambodian Royal Government issued favour Muslims practicing both needs. This research qualitative that uses anthropological approach. Researchers collected data through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation on policy documents, news, articles can trusted. Interviews took place non-formally, face-to-face, online via internet. argues pro-Muslim provide assurance for consumption country (2% total population) potentially improve their socio-economy food beverage industry tourism. The hijab guarantees Muslim women engage public spaces freely without worrying about discrimination because identity what they wear.</p><p> <em>Tulisan ini mengeksplorasi dinamika kebijakan di Negara Kerajaan Kamboja, secara spesifik terkait dengan pelembagaan dan legalisasi Keduanya merupakan kebutuhan dasar (</em>dharuriyat<em>) dalam Hukum Islam, meskipun yang kedua masih diperdebatkan. </em><em>Menurut mayoritas ulama periode awal, dua hanya bisa terpenuhi negara Islam. Sebaliknya, Pemerintah Kamboja,yang resmi menganut Buddhisme sebagai agama negara, mengeluarkan mendukung mudah mengamalkan tersebut. Penelitian adalah penelitian kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan antropologis. Peneliti mengumpulkan data-data melalui observasi, indepth-interview, dokumentasi terhadap dokumen kebijakan, berita, artikel dipercaya. Interview berlangsung non-formal, tatap muka Tulisan berpendapat bahwa dikeluarkan memberikan jaminan kepastian untuk konsumsi 2.0 persen tersebut, serta berpotensi meningkatkan perekonomian industri makanan minuman, pariwisata. Legalisasi kepada perempuan mampu terlibat ruang publik bebas tanpa menghawatirkan diskriminasi karena identitas apa ia pakai.</em></p>
