Primary Hydatid Cyst in the Rectovesical Pouch

Cyst hydatid disease is a parasitic zoonosis caused by the larvae of tapeworm belonging to Echinococcus species. While can affect almost any part human body, liver and lung are two organs where most frequently detected. Peritoneal involvement may develop following hepatic cyst surgery or as result spontaneous micro-ruptures into peritoneal cavity. However, with only few reported cases, primary in rectovesical pouch extremely rare, even endemic regions. In this study, 37-year-old man admitted emergency department frequency nocturia diagnosed having pouch.
