Primary High-grade Serous Carcinoma of the Fallopian Tube as an Incidental Intraoperative Finding: A Case Report

: Primary carcinoma of the fallopian tube is a rare, but fatal gynecologic cancer. The preoperative diagnosis this challenging due to absence specific symptoms and signs, in most patients, it an intraoperative finding. A 55-year-old patient (G3Ab1P2) was referred urogynecology clinic our hospital with chief complaints heavy, prolonged menstrual bleeding persistently abnormal yellow discharge, which could not be distinguished by from urinary leaks. After complete diagnostic work-up, identified as candidate for hysterectomy vaginal resistant megestrol acetate, family history malignancy, discharge. Laparotomy revealed unusual left features (large, bulky, vegetative), suggesting malignancy. frozen-section analysis ovarian specimens indicated mass high-grade serous tube. Total abdominal hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, partial omentectomy were performed patient. definitive histopathological (stage 2b) omental involvement, without any evidence lymphovascular invasion. High-grade likely have non-specific symptoms, causing significant delay treatment, negatively affects prognosis survival these patients.
