چکیده

Bovine Mastitis is an inflammation of the mammary gland, usually due to microbial infection, which causes economic loss dairy producer every year. Staphylococcus one most common pathogens responsible for contagious mastitis in bovines. The aim this study was identify coagulase positive Staphylococci isolated from bovine subclinical mastitis. In vitro biofilm forming ability isolates, important virulence factor mastitogen and prevalence marker icaD gene among isolates. present study, 70 isolates were biochemically identified as S. aureus. Biochemically characterized strains aureus screened formation. Phenotypic detection formation S.aureus done by two methods, namely, Congo Red Agar (CRA) method Tube Method (TM). frequency 28.57 per cent on CRA plates while 71.42 non-producers. 38.57 total shown tube 61.42 Employing PCR, molecular technique carried out. 72.85 found be produced amplicon 381bp.

Molecular typing of nosocomial Staphylococcus aureus strains associated to biofilm based on the coagulase and protein A gene polymorphisms

Objective(s): Staphylococcus aureus is an important bacterial pathogen responsible for a variety numbers of nosocomial and community acquired infections. Biofilm formation is regarded as an important factor in the establishment of S. aureus infection. The contribution of the genetic background of S. aureus to biofilm formation is poorly understood. The aim of the present work was to genotype S....

Detection of Intracellular Adhesion (ica) and Biofilm Formation Genes in Staphylococcus aureus Isolates from Clinical Samples

Background: The nosocomial infections that cause the establishment of biofilms on the embedded biomedical surfaces are the leading cause of sepsis and are often related to colonization of implants by Staphylococcus epidermidis. Materials and Methods: A total of 40 clinical S. aureus isolates were collected from Zabol, Iran. The ability of these strains to form biofilm was determined by microli...

AIMS To ascertain the clinical importance of a strain of slide coagulase positive but tube coagulase negative Staphylococcus species isolated from the blood culture of a 43 year old patient with refractory anaemia with excessive blasts in transformation who had neutropenic fever. METHODS The isolate was investigated phenotypically by standard biochemical methods using conventional biochemical...
