PREVALENCE OF MAXILLOFACIAL TRAUMA WITH FRONTAL FRACTURE AT HASAN SADIKIN GENERAL HOSPITAL BANDUNG

Patients with maxillofacial fractures have a high risk of accompanying head injury because the close anatomical location facial bones and cranium. Forces striking face are transmitted directly to neurocranium, resulting in more severe brain injury. Objective: To analyze prevalence patients frontal at RSHS Bandung 2020. Methods: Descriptive study medical records trauma Hasan Sadikin Hospital, Bandung, January-December The data collected included gender, age, aetiology fracture. Results: majority gender was 79.8% male, while female only 20.2%. age range is 17-25 years old (36%). Most fracture locations were without (92.2%), compared as much 10%. most common etiology Traffic accidents (81.3%), followed by falls 17.8%, physical violence 0.7%. Conclusion: Maxillofacial has relatively few incidences, primary young adults.
