Prescription Writing Skill among Intern Doctors of Birat Medical College Teaching Hospital, Nepal

Introduction: A prescription is a written order to pharmacist by doctor, which should contain all its components so that patient can get precise and fruitful outcomes of disease treatment. Preclinical undergraduate medical students are taught trained develop good skills. Thus, we aimed appraise writing skills among intern doctors Birat Medical College Teaching Hospital, Nepal.
 Methods: This observational cross-sectional study enrolled 63 interns Hospital. Nineteen according the World Health Organization were included in this study. They name, address, degree, registration number, telephone sign prescriber, date, diagnosis, dosage form, correct dose, route, quantity, instruction drug, sex, age patient. Then four groups; Group (Poor), B (Fair), C (Good), D (Excellent) divided number prescription.
 Results: According scoring system, maximum prescriptions from group (65.08%) followed (34.92%). None them D. Components such as prescriber’s drug’s found whereas, contact not any prescriptions.
 Conclusions: The Hospital up mark. There lots missing their prescriptions.
