Preparation of Pt/CNT Thin-Film Electrodes by Electrochemical Potential Pulse Deposition for Methanol Oxidation

چکیده

High-quality performance of catalysts is increasingly required to meet industry exigencies. However, chemical synthesis often insufficient maximize the potential properties catalysts. On other hand, electrochemical has arisen as a promising alternative overcome these limitations and provide precise control in preparation In this sense, work involved well-controlled catalyst based on platinum nanoparticle deposition carbon nanotubes using only treatments. Thin films functionalized were cast onto surface glassy electrode pulsed electrodeposition, resulting better distribution when comparing with traditional methods. Then, nanoparticles electrodeposited nanotube-modified electrode. To check relevance treatments, samples analyzed electrocatalysts towards methanol electrooxidation, showing an important improvement catalytic activity comparison electrodes that prepared by methodologies.
