چکیده

Abstract The industrial production of tungsten powder is carried out by the reduction oxide via hydrogen. In this process, size W particles limited to particle sizes larger than 100 nm. To get below limit, alternative processes are needed. current work, possibility preparing nm a vapour phase volatile WO 2 (OH) hydrogen was investigated. process consists two stages. first stag,e formed reacting 3 with water at temperatures 1000–1100 °C. second stage, reduced about 1000 °C form metallic tungsten. influence parameters such as furnace temperature, humidity and gas flow on evaporation formation characterization resulting powders performed X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) transmission (TEM). By optimization reaction conditions, content 70 at% besides oxides produced metal down 5 Further should lead high product yield. Due small size, applications in catalysis might be possible, although an realization seems unrealistic moment.

Nano-size Hydroxyapatite Powders Preparation by Wet-Chemical Precipitation Route

In this study, wet-chemical process was performed to prepare nano-size hydroxyapatite (HA) powders (≈10 nm) by varying concentration (low, medium and high) of the starting solutions in order to increase the amount of as-dried HA powders with different process conditions. Particle sizes and density were analyzed and differential thermal analysis was used to determine the glass transition (Tg) an...

Preparation of Crystalline Oxymyoglobin from Horse Heart.

Recently great advances have been made in the preparation of pure myoglobin by the introduction of ion exchange cellulose column chromatography (1, 2). Myoglobin, however, shows a strong tendency to be oxidized to metmyoglobin during isolation procedures. For this reason all myoglobin preparations reported earlier were obtained in the form of metmyoglobin. Therefore, oxymyoglobin has usually be...

Preparation of functionalized porous nano-γ-Al2O3 powders employing colophony extract

This study reports the synthesis of porous nano alumina employing carboxylato-alumoxanes [Al(O) x (OH) y (O2CR) z ] n as precursors for controlling the pore size, pore size distribution and porosity of the alumina, using a new process ecofriendly. The carboxylato-alumoxanes was prepared by the reaction of boehmite with carboxylic acids. The boehmite was obtained by the hydrolysis of aluminum al...
