چکیده

Abstract In this work, functionalized reduced graphene oxide–silver (FrGO–Ag) nanocomposite was synthesized to enhance the antimicrobial activity and biocompatibility of FrGO for infected wound burn treatment. The reduction GO FGO confirmed by removal some oxygen functional groups (carbonyl epoxy groups) as revealed Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectra. face-centered cubic (fcc) silver nanoparticles were identified X-ray diffraction (XRD). contact time effect dose rGO, FrGO, FrGO-Ag toward Staphylococcus aureus , Pseudomonas aeruginosa Candida albicans have been investigated. cytotoxicity results these compounds that functionalization PVP decoration AgNPs improved rGO sheets from 35.2 88% cell viability against BJ1 normal human epithelial line. Preparation and Characterization of Reduced Graphene Nanosheets

In this work, the reduced graphene nanosheets were synthesized from pre-exfoliated graphite flakes. The pristine graphite flakes were firstly pre-exfoliated to graphite nanoplatelets in the presence of acetic acid. The obtained graphite nanoplatelets were treated by Hummer’s method to produce graphite oxide sheets and were finally exfoliated to graphene nanosheets by ultrasonication and reducti...

Preparation and Characterization of Polypropylene/functionalized Graphene Nanocomposites

1. General Introduction Conductive polymer composite materials deserve interest in several application fields [1]. A composite consisting of conductive fillers and an insulating polymer becomes electrically conductive as the filler content exceeds a certain critical value, which is generally attributed to percolation phenomenon. These percolation threshold values for the particular polymer comp...
