Abstract Two forms of activated carbon (i.e., granular and powdered forms) used to test mercury removal in solution. These carbons were obtained from the shells a palmae biomass ion aquatic systems. The African shell taken out broadly simply full-fledged palm tree. This serves as precursor formulation not documented. fractions described for chemical composition, isoelectric point, surface area. mechanism reactions kinetics involved studied using results protonation rate limitations. parameters batch mode study included pH, contact time, initial concentration adsorbate dose carbons.
