چکیده
Aim at developing high-performance wound dressing with super moisture control performance, excellent antimicrobial activity, good biocompatibility as well reduced cost, carboxymethyl rayon viscose yarns (CM-RVYs) had been successfully prepared by alkalinization and etherification of using sodium hydroxide chloroacetic acid. The antibacterial CM-RVYs were obtained uniting chitosan/nano-Ag to the through electrostatic interaction polyelectrolyte. FTIR XRD analysis showed that underwent different degrees carboxymethylation change degree substitution (DS). DS could affect water absorption, retention, mechanical properties CM-RVYs, which in turn determine their performance dressing. research results indicated increasing DS, crystallinity decreased gradually. surface cross section modified became rough irregular along various white crystal-like protuberances appeared on its surface. And absorption retention both rose a lot, but breaking strength first increased then compared elongation fluctuated just between 16%. With 0.51, reached 13.01 g·g-1 respectively 8.54 cN 15.27%. against E. coli S. aureus would be used high

Optimizing of Nonwoven Fabric Properties Using Nano-bio Materials for the Wound Dressing Application
Introduction: In addition to its protective role, dressings not only prevent infection, but also accelerate wound healing process. In this study, the influence of optimizing the properties of the calendered needle-punched nonwoven fabrics using the finishing materials of Honey, Aloe Vera, Chitosan and Nano Argentum Nitrate for the end-usage as dressing has been investigated. Methods: The prepa...

Carboxymethyl cellulose [C6H7O(OH)3x(OCH2COOH)x]n is a derivative of the regenerated cellulose [C6H10O5]n with hydroxy-acetic acid (hydroxy ethanoic acid) CH2(OH)COOH or sodium monochloroacetate ClCH2COONa. The CMC backbone consist of D-glucose residues linked by -1,4-linkage. The molecular mass of one glucose unit in CMC chain is mCMC = 146.14 + 75.04x, where x 3 is the degree of substitu...
متن کاملSynthesis, Characterisation and Flocculation Properties of Carboxymethyl Cellulose-g Acrylamide
Graft copolymers of acrylamide on carboxymethyl cellulose (d.s 0.4-0.5) were prepared by the use of ceric ion, ceric ion/reductant molecule initiator systems in aqueous medium. The graft copolymers were characterized by IR spectroscopy. The extent of graft copolymerisation was measured in terms of grafted chains as a function of both ceric ion and ceric ion/reductant molecule concentrations. It...
