چکیده
Preeclampsia is a pregnancy-specific syndrome caused by abnormal placentation. Although environmental chemicals, including some pesticides, are suspected of impairing placentation and promoting preeclampsia, its relationship with preeclampsia has been insufficiently explored. We aimed to investigate the relation between non-occupational exposure pesticides during pregnancy risk preeclampsia. The study cohort comprised 195 women 17,181 without from ELFE birth cohort. used toxicogenomic approaches select 41 interest for their possible influence on assessed household pesticide use (self-reported data), agricultural (geographic information systems), dietary (food-frequency questionnaire data monitoring residues in food water). Dietary exposures were grouped into clusters similar resolve collinearity issues. For each source, mutually adjusted, odds ratios estimated logistic regression models. quantity prochloraz applied within kilometer women's homes was higher than (fourth quartile vs. others; adjusted ratio [aOR] = 1.54; 95%CI: 1.02, 2.35), especially when diagnosed before 34 weeks gestation (aOR 2.25; 1.01, 5.06). reverse observed nearby cypermethrin application 0.59, 0.36, 0.96). In sensitivity analyses, receiving antihypertensive treatment had significantly probability using herbicides at home 2.20; 1.23, 3.93). No statistically significant association found While most associations examined remained non-significant, our results suggest residential herbicides. These estimations supported toxicological mechanistic data.

BACKGROUND Organophosphorous (OP) pesticides are associated with reduced fetal growth in animals, but human studies are inconsistent. OBJECTIVES We pooled data from four cohorts to examine associations of prenatal OP exposure with birth weight (n = 1,169), length (n = 1,152), and head circumference (n = 1,143). METHODS Data were from the CHAMACOS, HOME, Columbia, and Mount Sinai birth cohor...
