Predicting Parent Trust Based on Professionals’ Communication Skills

Trust is critical to the establishment and maintenance of working relationships between parents children with disabilities their child’s professional. Knowledge specific communication skills needed secure trust unclear. The current study investigated relationship parent evaluation professionals’ professionals. A total 165 responded an online survey during COVID-19 pandemic. results indicated that had a significant moderately positive Hierarchical multiple regression analyses parents’ ratings competence, use in-person were only predictors special education professionals, even when other factors considered. This study’s findings draw attention importance may have in establishing maintaining trusting parents.
